The people who landed in Seoul’s Incheon International Airport on February 13th, 2013 were different from those you’re hearing from in 2015. While celebrating our second anniversary abroad we had a nice dinner with friends and toasted a second year of adventurous living with quality people.
Time has gone slowly if we look back on these two years and seem more like 3 or maybe 4. We stay busy and explore as often as possible and always have, but Korea has given us the opportunity to slow down time. We spend nearly every weekend going somewhere or doing something. These adventures stack up into a long list of stories, pictures, videos, and (when we have time) blog posts that seem, now, to stretch back a miniature lifetime.
As we celebrate the successful completion of our second year of teaching we can’t help but look forward to our third. If we’ve learned anything in two short years, it’s that a year is an opportunity. With this next year we’re going to continue exploring this amazing country like the giddy children we are. We know that living in South Korea for this amount of time and continuing to do so is an incredible privilege. We are beyond lucky to be living the life that we have together.
We couldn’t be happier and we look forward to sharing our third year with all of our friends, family, and readers. Ever onward!
We are currently celebrating our milestone with a week long winter roadtrip around Korea. For more pictures and updates, be sure to follow us on Instagram!
Stumbled across your blog, and it looks like you’re having a great time. I’m a Peace Corps Volunteer and am looking for people to help me out with a project for my English class in Mozambique. There’s more info on the Postcard Project tab on my blog. Let me know if you’d be able to help out. Haven’t gotten anything from South Korea yet
I may be interested. The new semester begins in March however and I wouldn’t be able to start the project until mid April. I also need to speak with my coteacher to see if this would be something he would be interested in as well. If the time period doesn’t work for you, please let me know.

That would be fine. I will be here for two years, so there is not rush. Let me know what everyone says on your end.
