As you may or may not have read, we recently visited our friend Pete in Boseong. We had an amazing time with good people and made a trip to his pottery studio. While at the studio, Pete let us try our hands at throwing pottery on the wheel and making things that may or may not be considered abstract art. He was a great teacher but as students, we left much for a teacher to desire.
We each made one or two items and it was a really great time. Stephanie, in particular, enjoyed herself and wants to pursue pottery someday in the future. We all made something, even if its purpose and form were beyond description in standard pottery.
Enjoy the video, and be sure to check out our previous post where we interviewed Pete about how he started doing pottery in Korea.
I kept wondering when a reference was going to be made to the movie Ghost! Looked like fun! Beautiful cat–Long haired Siamese? Mom/Jill
It wouldn’t be a proper pottery video without it haha! Yes, the cat is a long haired Siamese and he is super friendly.
