Tomorrow we are off! The first semester of the school year is already over and summer vacation is here. We will be catching a train in the morning to Seoul and then flying off to explore more of Southeast Asia. As we anxiously grip our passports, we look forward to the adventure ahead and earning a few more stamps to add to our humble collection.
Our first leg of our journey will be in Malaysia’s capital city Kuala Lumpur. We will only be there for a couple of days as we are basically using the city as a layover for our eventual destination… Indonesia! Little known secret is to check flight prices for nearby countries instead of just looking for flights going to your ultimate destination. We are saving a few hundred dollars by booking roundtrip tickets from Korea to Kuala Lumpur and then roundtrip tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Bali. Sometimes laying over for a couple of days in another country if you have the time is well worth it since you can save a lot of money.
We will be abroad for sixteen days, mostly in Bali and the surrounding islands. We have scheduled some posts to go live while we are gone and we will also be sharing a few sneak peeks of the different places we are traveling to along the way! Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram as we will be sharing photos from our trip as often as we can find some wifi.
